Peter Bentley‘s new book, Digitized: The science of computers and how it shapes our world explores how computer science has impacted on the world and the people behind its innovations. The book includes a chapter on computers and creativity, in particular looks in detail at the work of William Latham. Perter interviewed me for the book and was generous to include a number of my responses in this chapter. The book provides some interesting insights on Latham’s pioneering evolutionary approach to art making and how computers will shape the creativity of the future.
